Walt is in a Bible study and a Men’s Group. In both places, he does not say much. It is usually toward the end of the meeting if Walt does speak. He may be sensible and insightful, but no one pays much attention because he is not the leader or teacher. He goes home and complains to his wife about how no one listens and the group makes poor decisions.

Because Walt has learned that love is more important than the Gift, he again waits toward the end of the meetings to speak. The groups are not interested in his thoughts because they don’t recognize his Gift despite his common-sense approach. Walt is frustrated and considers leaving the Church because people will not listen or focus on the unseen consequences God gives him. The special ability Walt possesses allows him to see actions to protect the Church.

Because the groups recognize the special ability Wisdom Walt presents, everyone listens very carefully because they know it is directly from God through Walt. The small group accomplishes great things in the community and the Church. Walt is named one of the Elders on the Church’s Elder Board. The rest of the group looks to him to provide spiritual truth effectively to meet the needs of the Church. The Elder Board meetings run very smoothly because of Walt’s presence.
