Money no longer holds me in its grasp since I found out I have Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. It is a fatal, progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. The average person lives two to five years. God led me to a church in Tarpon Springs. The pastor began behaving irrationally. He had a secret cocaine problem, and he left to get treatment. Consternation at the church followed. Shortly after the pastor left, I became the church administrator (executive pastor). Without a senior pastor, over 400 people discovered their Spiritual Gifts, and the church grew from 500 to 2,000!
